Smoking reduces the fertility of the 'pregnant man

more a man smokes more the ability of sperm to fertilize the 'egg decreases:
is what he tries to demonstrate a comparative study on sperm quality of 18 men who smoke more than 4 cigarettes a day for more than two years, and non-smoking men.
Dr. Loni Burkman, dll 'University of Buffalo, has developed a test, the Test Hemizona that allows you to measure the ability of sperm to pass through the zona pellucida (thick membrane surrounding the egg), the last barrier before coming into contact with 'egg. The result :
two thirds of the sperm of male smokers failed the test.
Smokers are not some sterile, but lose a lot of fertility.
Smokers who intend to have a child with their partner, should therefore try to quit smoking, the sperm will regain its status around the two and a half months' "Last" cigarette.
