The Pursuit of Happyness

Strive to pursue happiness is the best way to be unhappy. Do not think that we should be happy to live in a state of exaltation or ecstasy. Nor should make heroic efforts to think of something positive or not to think about negative things. You do not need a particular concentration. And do not believe that happiness is based on a pursuit of pleasure.
True happiness is rather a state of calm and tranquility, outside of the excesses. This means the greek word "eudaimonia", which indicates a stand with a good daimon, "or with one's self. And that's exactly what you're looking through meditation.
As Chekhov said, "Happiness is such as health, when you have, you do not notice. "
